THE SOLVEXA APPROACH

How a SolveXa improvement project runs,
from assessment to sustainment.

Insight into action, action into habit. A clear path from assessment to implementation. We work with your team to understand the gaps, agree on priorities, put changes into practice, and review the evidence that they work.

Understand

What is happening—and what matters?

We start with your business priorities, customer needs, and operating challenges. The goal is a shared understanding of the current state.

  • Business priorities, QMS scope, and customer needs
  • Existing procedures, records, and operating practices
  • An agreed starting point and engagement scope

Analyze

Analyze

What is behind the problem?

We examine data, workflows, risks, waste, and variation to develop an evidence-based view of the causes.

  • Relevant operating data and process observations
  • Root-cause analysis
  • A prioritized roadmap with owners and milestones

Implement

How do we make better work possible?

We work with your people to put practical changes into operation, supported by training and clear responsibilities.

  • Usable procedures, forms, and process improvements
  • Ownership and workforce training
  • Measures and controls

Sustain

How does progress become the routine?

We support standardization, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement so the operation can keep moving forward.

  • Standard work and process controls
  • Readiness reviews and performance monitoring
  • Corrective-action follow-up and ongoing coaching

Designed with your people. Clear measures, collaborative delivery, and practical controls are part of every stage.

WHERE AI FITS

AI drafts and analyses.
People decide.

We use AI inside the work where it saves time without hiding judgment, and we build our own tools the same way.

See the tools we build

Where it helps

  • First drafts of procedures, protocols, and training material, always reviewed against your requirements.
  • Sorting and summarising process data, records, and meeting notes so analysis starts sooner.
  • Automating routine follow-up so nothing waits on memory.

Where it does not

  • Acceptance decisions, root-cause conclusions, and sign-off. Those stay with named people.
  • Calculations. Capability indices, limits, and statistics run in ordinary, testable code.
  • Your records. Client data is not sent to AI services without your written agreement.

Why start with an assessment?

Because the problem you can see is rarely the one costing the most. A Focused Assessment & Improvement Roadmap is paid work with defined deliverables: findings against evidence, priorities ranked by business impact, a 90-day roadmap with owners, and a results presentation. You own all of it whether or not you continue with SolveXa, and it is required before an ISO 9001 implementation module is quoted so the scope is based on facts rather than a guess.

What is DMAIC, and when do we use it?

DMAIC stands for define, measure, analyze, improve, control. It is the Lean Six Sigma problem-solving sequence: define the problem and what success looks like, measure the current state with real data, analyze the data to find the causes that matter, improve by testing a change in production, and control it with standard work and monitoring so the gain holds. SolveXa uses it for recurring performance problems with a measurable outcome, such as the automotive heat-treatment project where a validated change cut the total cost of poor quality, the combined cost of scrap, rework, inspection, and failures, by more than 70 percent. For quality-system gaps, the four stages above apply instead.

How long does a project take?

It depends on scope, which is why every engagement is fixed in scope and quoted after a free 20-minute discovery call rather than priced on the website. An assessment is a defined piece of work. A Lean & Operational Improvement Sprint covers one performance problem through to a pilot and standard work. An ISO 9001 implementation module covers an agreed set of up to eight procedures and eight forms. Ongoing support runs at up to twelve consulting hours a month with an initial three-month term.

What does your team need to provide?

Process owners who can review and approve what is written for their area, access to the records and data the work depends on, time for the people being trained, and a decision maker for priorities. The deliverables are built around how your organization operates, so they only work if the people who run those processes are in the room. SolveXa coaches, documents, and measures; your team owns the result.
